Blip's 10th Birthday

Took myself to Lauriston Castle Grounds with some balloons. Not yet blown-up when the first rainbow appeared and scooted around the front to try to get the rainbow. The dreaded raindrop on the lens scuppered a few!

Found a sit-down to sort balloons and off around the grounds, once again chasing rainbows and then balloons as they whizzed left towards the sea.

Some strange looks, but anyway that's me all round. And some chats too ;-) Several photos later time to head home, balloons duly handed over to a wee one and Dad touring the grounds.

Saw a red wedding bus just as I left, then when home there was a beautiful colourful sky. Too many to choose from today. But picked some and the castle with rainbow onto my FB page, sorry don't know how to share here.

Chose this one as I love the colour of this maple acer, just catching the sun, inbetween the rain, rainbows, wind and blue sky! Balloons tied to the tree next pond statue. Castle behind hidden by the trees.

Happy 10th Year of Blip. I enjoyed taking the balloons out for a jaunt to one of my favourite places in Edinburgh. And also a good excuse for a fish supper and red cola for dinner :-D

Some days are a challenge to think of an idea, some are random, some planned, so today you gave a creative idea thank you Blip Team and thank you to fellow Blippers who share ideas, comments and Blips. It is great to see places you know with a different eye - local Blips and great to see places you've never seen before - far away Blippers' creations.

Blipping creates a new set of eyes, and brings more awareness to the senses and to what is around us all everyday.

Thanx
