Unfortunate

I nearly always carry a spare battery for the camera. Today when I was at Hazlehead Park and turned on the camera I found the battery was almost dead. Looking for the spare battery I discovered I did not have it with me, in fact I had left it in the charger.

Just time to take one quick shot before the camera gave up on me. Obviously I now had plenty of time to console myself with a chocolate cake at the Park Cafe. We were lucky to get a table as it was very busy for the entire time we were there. Not sure if this was due more to the school holidays or the sunny weather. Probably both. Plenty of dogs around, but today we did not have Cosmo with us. She has just returned from a weekend away at St. Andrew's.
