A Day Worth Recording

The view through the kitchen window. Living in a former rectory adjacent to a converted church, we get the full glory of the stained glass when the neighbours have the lights on.

A very enjoyable evening. The four of us (Ellis is here too) went to the Coach House theatre - the third and smallest of the three adjacent theatres - to see Ladies in Retirement (a thriller by its description, but reasonably mild on the peril scale).

The theatre really is small - like being in someone's front room (though that being the set may have helped the illusion).

Ahead of the play we ate at Benedicto's, the Italian Italian, and very good it was again.
