Moorhen resting

When I took this photograph I dismissed it as a failure as there wasn't as much light as I had thought and it looked completely black on the back of the camera. I am glad I didn't delete it.

I did a lot of fiddling with it, or is the correct term processing.
I am pleased with the result as I like the subtle tones only highlighted by the Moorhen's red and yellow beak reflected.

This spot has been frequented by a Kingfisher in the past but no sign of it today. It is just a muddy trickle but has a good mix of vegetation considering it is next to the carpark surrounded by shops, industrial units and the A57.
