Timing

I didn't choose the best moment in the day to take a walk. On the upside, and in anticipation of the tail-end of Hurricane Gonzalo, I had put on my newly reproofed waterproof trousers before we set off - and was avoiding trees!

Little Dog and I wondered what a rainbow in blue sky could possibly mean as we headed up the hill. When the rain started beating down, we rather quickly found out... Trouble ahead!

This was the first set of clouds which had already soaked us. There was still another equally sizeable one to come! We got down a couple of hours later to emerging blue skies.

And it's been blue sky ever since!

Still, it felt good. And the waterproofing worked.
