Autumn Rushing in Between Towns

Long days are flushing away on the rhythms of our enduring activities. On the move with our Things, we are engaged to care for the implementation of several projects: cutting the garden monsters. Sweeping the leaves. Unpacking, repacking, moving in and out. Strolling around with our friend. Looking in second hand shops, buying food for cooking...who does the cooking today? Mmm, those delicious meals...And all this for a very short stay.

Tomorrow early take-off to drive back to the seaside, bringing over and rearranging Things over there. Just to return to the Weserriver on Friday again. Hopefully then the whirling will calm down for a while. Still, awakening in the dark, I mix up my surroundings. No problem, tomorrow night I can try out the reverse.

These are the days of ongoing change. Confusing sometimes, but challenging in a way so different from the cold salty sea baths. But shaking our guts. Disturbing our habits. Nudged out of trail. And still strolling strong. Not yet fit for the Invaliden Home, we saw this afternoon, walking through town, before it started to rain. Welcome Autumn time. We praise your showers, winds, smells and grey skies. We love your revalidating Ocres, Browns & Orange-Yellows, your falling leaves.
