Another Day

Hollyhock

A chatty photographic class this morning. Our mentor called in sick and we had a replacement "teacher" who had no control over us, so we did have fun but hopefully learned a little too.

Across the road from where we hold our class there is a lovely garden with a very large pond and I was hoping to blip a pair of swans who live there permanently. The female had broken a wing quite a few years ago and she and her partner had remained in the garden ever since. I caught up with the owner this morning and he told me she had been sitting on eggs in the summer but had been taken by a fox. The male is still there on his own. Sad.

It's a hollyhock instead.
