Scarecrow!

Will brought home a scarecrow that he made at school today. I think it is quite cute.

Parents evening. Two happy parents. Love that after 8/7 weeks the teachers at our school know our kids so well.

We have been given small pointers to help them improve more, which is fine by me. The fact that Will's teacher said she would miss him spoke volumes. He is very competitive and physically is able to do what he should be able to. This is good to hear. Mr. Bump may finally be able to leave that moniker behind.

Carys is where she should be, but ahead in terms of vocabulary and reading age. That brings it's own issues, but nothing to worry about. She just puts too much vocabulary into her writing and confuses herself, but that is a normal developmental stage.

All in all I am very happy with my children and their enthusiasm for learning and their love of school.
