War Planes Galore

This morning I went back to the WWII Museum in New Orleans, in part simply because my new point-and-shoot camera's battery had gone dead yesterday (my carelessness), but mainly because I wanted to spend more time--each and every room and display is fascinating. This image is rather self-explanatory, taken from a walkway on the 4th level; parts of at least six planes are visible.

In the afternoon we took a long drive to Lafayette, , arriving just in time to meet our birding tour, for brief introductions and a long, delicious dinner in a superb Cajun restaurant. It's now late, so I can't comment further.
