Back to our Hermit

Up to see if the bird had remained. We got there to find three slightly gloomy birders who had failed to find it.
We walked down to where it had been and up it popped looking considerably brighter. Slowly a few other birders drifted down so we ended up with a crowd - in Hebridean terms -of nine birders. Everyone very happy to have excellent close views of this rarity.
With another pilgrimage to see our bird late in the afternoon when this shot was taken, most of the rest of the day was spent chasing other species around the island and we did get up to 68 species by the end of the day. Still no Song Thrush.
