Mark's last day ..

.. and at last there was some light in the sky, albeit interspersed with really wintry showers. A typical Hebridean light show. We struggled up to 70 species but fell well short of our target of 76. That said the view we had of two Sea Eagles made the idea of just counting species a mockery. Song Thrush had finally eluded us!
He got on the plane at 4:30pm and it always amazes me that he would then be at Heathrow by 7pm. Two different worlds so close temporally.
