Seeing Red

I struggled to clear the lounge of furniture this morning, filled the reservoir of the new carpet shampooer with fragrant smelling carpet cleaner and topped it up with warm water. It was then that I noticed the drip, drip, drip from the bottom of the tank!! Not good when about to hold it over an electrical appliance.
The all singing and dancing machine was useless and all the furniture had to be put back. They're sending me another one tomorrow, so let's hope that it's more fit for purpose than this one.

A wet and thoroughly miserable day, so no gardening done. Even the dogs have whined all day. They keep standing at the back door but won't go out because it's wet underpaw.....pampered pooches!!
