Delphinium at Dusk
I don't have much idea about delphiniums but I always thought that they were a Summer flowering plant. I bought this one to replace the one I lost when I had my new shed built and it was flowering when I bought it in early August.
Although the leaves have gone a bit mildewy, it has decided to flower again but it was going dark and so the photo is of poor quality.
I had some rather good news today. A photograph that I entered into an informal competition, surprisingly came first. My other one came fifth, so I was very pleased.
My Daughter and family came with Mckenzie and me to Roves Farm for fireworks, hot dogs (made fresh from the Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs on the farm) and lots of fun and games. It was far too busy for my liking but everyone seemed to enjoy it.
