Rhapsody in Pink

The clocks going back didn't make too much difference to Mckenzie, although he did wake at 6.30 wanting porridge. He ate an enormous bowl, followed by a bowl of cereal and then a banana. I don't like to say no, especially when it's healthy foods that he's asking for.

He went back home in the afternoon and I managed to take the dogs out for an extra long walk over the fields. It was a bit depressing seeing it get dark at 5.30 but not long until the nights get longer again.

For those that can remember the metal detector group in the local field, I found out that there was quite a few artefacts found, including a gold coin.
