Street entertainment...

These six, very young lads, were entertaining the passing shoppers on Wilbraham Road in Chorlton. They played their guitars while the seated guy beat out the rhythms on a tea chest. They were really good and their box was filling nicely with £1 coins. Apart from a little chanting they didn't sing. I think they are all of an age where they can't be sure what their voices might do if they tried to sing. People sometimes find this stage on a boy's life quite charming. I remember it well and, when you are going through it, it's far from charming...
