The Grey One...

Liathach, 3,461 feet (1,055 m).

At long last trying out my new filter - no mean feat in horrendous winds and ever changing light - many thanks to my teen helper for building boulders around my tripod and making sure I didn't fall in the river!

A typical West Highland day; 3 otters playing on the railway line by the house, deluges of rain followed by amazing breakthroughs of sunshine and beautiful light, hot chocolates in the pub, steaks for dinner...

Home tomorrow.

(Apologies for another mono. A hard choice today, given the gorgeous light at times but I was proud of this shot and it looks better in mono)
