Alstroemeria

This was going to be a blip of Rose number 2 "Brass Band" but although the colour is great the bloom isn't so good. I will wait for a better flower but wanted to record that it is the second to open this year.

This is an alstroemeria that has been hiding among the winter Iris plants. I was so pleased to see it and pick it, they make good plants for indoors and flower more if you pick them regularly. I had so many of these one year I did the flowers for a wedding using them. This plant has also travelled with me from the last house.

Tomorrow hails another trip away for work, I wonder if I will get an interesting blip.
