Fruit salad

I wrestled control of the kitchen from Mr hazelh today and took control of Sunday lunch. I served a fig and goat's cheese starter, then our main course was roast lamb in redcurrant jelly with green beans and beetroot. For pudding we had fruit salad (as blipped).

We had intended to walk around the Botanic Garden while the meat was cooking, but  just as we arrived at the East Gate it was closed due to high winds. Instead we wandered along the Water of Leith, stopping off at Stockbridge Market along the way, and returned home through the New Town.

Our guests Bella and Lucy have now gone and our flat feels very, very quiet.

Exercise today: walking (2 hours)
