A delightful day

We had such a lovely day. Breakfast on the balcony, swimming a few lengths in the pool, reading / sunbathing by the pool, a late lunch at El Hacho, and then we went for a walk up to Castillo del Aguila, where this husband and wife "shadow selfie" is taken. The view from up there is great and we stopped for a while, taking pictures and relaxing in the afternoon sun. Afterwards we sat down at a café for a while, at one of the village squares, and enjoyed listening to the locals small chat. It would be nice to know more Spanish, that's for sure. Well, the day wasn't over yet. We had decided to have dinner at Restaurant La Fructuosa, and that was a fabulous experience. Not only was the weather so warm we could sit outside, with a view over to Gibraltar and Morocco, but the service was friendly and the food was exceptionally good. Oh and yes, there were only three other guests at the restaurant this evening, so we almost had the place to ourselves. All in all this was just a perfect day :)
