Fungi

I visited a lesser-used part of the garden today to find my blip and saw these small brown fungi in the undergrowth. They had been untouched by frost, unlike several hundred more, of a different kind, which had turned completely black; they would have made a good picture before the frost got them.

It has been another sunny day here, with some wind, but also with lovely blue skies. The cats have been outside most of the day, basking in the sunshine; it will be very cold as soon as the sun goes in. Today I have been catching up on paperwork and other essential jobs around the house.
