Cartmel Priory

After playing in Manchester, I got to bed just before 3.00 am to get up just after 6.00 am to catch the coach. Thank goodness that the clocks went back!!
We picked up people in Shrewsbury but left late as we waited for a man that didn't turn up. He arrived by car at the hotel in the Lake District. There were only two coaches and he got on the wrong one which was off to Blackpool. He stayed overnight then drove home - he didn't want to waste a meal and bed!
We stopped in Cartmel where this priory is and had a look around the village then Kendall before getting to the hotel.
