Stratford Races - Minus Horses

An absolutely glorious morning, so we decided that it was far too nice to be wasted on shopping for food. I went for my flu jab early (to the pharmacy, as I don't receive a free jab - yet) and then we parked near to the river and walked along what was part of the old railway track on the south side of Stratford.

The path runs alongside Stratford Race Course for a while, and it was looking very lovely in the sunshine. When we drove home, the thermometer in the car was reading 21 degrees as the outside temperature, and it was beautiful, with hardly anyone about.

We also managed a quick supermarket dash after our walk, so we won't starve tonight after all.
