A warm Indian Summer day greeted us when we landed at Heathrow this afternoon. It was so warm I was able to drive home with the top down on my convertible. Since our clocks went back in the UK yesterday, I knew it would get darker much quicker than I was used to, so I hurried to pick up Dolly from the dog-sitters and we went for a walk on the way home. It has been a long time since I had walked around this particular lake and I was not disappointed.
