Dia De Los Muertos - Nuestra Ofrenda*

Buying bread today involved being giving a free votive candle and some sugar skulls.

We had planned to go into downtown to check what was happening for the Day of the Dead, but after doing grocery shopping (always a life sapper!) we just couldn't muster the energy to battle crowds and cold. So satyed put.

Instead a made a botched Beef and Guinness stew thingy. Never thought I could have too much of the Black Shtuff, but drinking and cooking are different things entirely.

Eventually built my 1st ever Ofrenda. For all the departed, from Mexico, Ireland & Scotland. A litle bit booze heavy, but sure what can you do.
