I uploaded a version of this, then noticed a problem. Deleting it, I also deleted a comment without noting the name of the person. I hope that wasn't rude.

This is from the Brough of Birsay which is a headland only accessible by causeway at low tide. There are Norse and Pictish remains here, I wonder how many people have been caught out by the tide as they explored.

I was the only person here today. Marwick Head, on the left of the picture, has thousands of guillemots on it now, but on the Brough it is just fulmare, some seen flying here, some razorbils and ravens were flying near the nest-site they always use.
