Christmas Cactus Flowers Again

Today I am feeling quite back to normal and had intended to mow the overly long grass of our lawn. However, due to the sharp frost during the night, despite the pleasant sunshine, the lawn was still much too wet for mowing at 1400 hours. So outdoor activity never really took place.

Indoors, I passed our Christmas cactus in the kitchen, which I had photographed a couple of days ago, when this flower first started opening. The flower is now fully open and I saw it against the light coming through a heavily steamed up window; it looked beautiful. I could not resist taking a picture of it and here it is, although the picture does not look as good as the flower does in reality.
