Inside it is just a little warmer, enough to open yesterdays bud.

Crocus cambessedesii, native to Majorca and Minorca, is a tiny, delicate jewel. Best grown under cold glass in the UK, the small flowers are usually strikingly marked on the buff yellow outer petals with the inner petals varying from almost white to a rich lilac blue.
