Fellner & Helmer

A bath in the former Imperial Spa in Karlovy Vary. Designed by Austrian architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer who also designed the Grand Hotel Pupp (made more famous by James Bond) and a heap of other grand structures including the Odessa Opera House and the Volkstheater in Vienna. The Imperial was a state-of-the-art spa when commissioned in 1895 but fell into dereliction in the 1980s. Now thankfully it's being restored.

I like the way the image draws one's attention to the floor which is particularly beautiful.
