Migrant in Moscow

A Day in Germany

The City Hall in Bamberg in Germany. Built around 1467. The story goes that apparently local citizens denied an allocation of land by the bishop (who I think contested their autonomy) drove stakes into the river and built an island upon which they built their city hall.

The light was a bit flat and ragged in the late afternoon but I thought it did well to highlight the central feature.

Best seen in LARGE.
