You have eight pipes, and a pair of scales...

I know it's the 5th and I 'ought' to be blipping fireworks but it's been a busy evening with rather more water than fire; so have some 'nature's fireworks' from the garden first thing.

I'd almost finished working when the Plumber (#4) arrived to look at things; especially the downstairs (lack of) central heating. This required discerning where the pipes went and why.

This is somewhat non-trivial and after a bit of rummaging in one loft we found a header tank we weren't expecting, and a pipe went.. we know not where; and a pipe that Must Exist, doesn't.

Having met the telephone wiring this is of no surprise to me, but the plumber did leave expecting to be losing some sleep over the puzzle.
