Sea Triumph

11.3C with rain through the night and morning, becoming lighter then clearing through the afternoon. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. The rain had become light during the morning and by the time we went out it was clearing. As we walked down the road to the shore I could see clearer weather coming up from the South over Fife, and over to the East I could see 'Sea Triumph' on the horizon making its way towards Dundee. The sea was rough inshore as it broke over the rocks that run along the shoreline.

We went over the road bridge across the railway and went along towards Carnoustie and I stopped to get a few pictures from time to time. We didn't go right along to the beach at Carnoustie because I could see the waves breaking on the sea defences and spray flying up and over the walkway. We went up by the station and then up the main road towards home.

By the time we got back home the sun was beginning to make an appearance. Fingers crossed for a dryer weekend.
