Ploughing ... later

9.6C bright and breezy.

Apothecary7's day off. We had a visit to M&S at City Quay in Dundee, to the cafe and for tonights dinner then we went home via Broughty Ferry. We had a walk round Broughty Ferry with Maeve the Deerhound but it was quite cold in the wind at the seafront so we didn't stay long.

As we arrived home we saw the tractor was back in the field across the road from our house, so we parked the car and wandered down the road to find a vantage point for a photo or two, this time looking towards the old primary school and the church that we walk past most days on the way to the field with the bridle path. When we got near to the unmoving tractor we could see that the driver was having a snooze in the cab. Lunch break. More ploughing later :-)

We went back to the vet with Maeve this afternoon. We reported on the improvements we have noticed and the vet made a brief examination of the tension in Maeve's neck and back. Progress. Another injection of painkiller plus more oral painkiller for me to give her once a day for ten days. Short walks on flat ground. I think that will allow us a trundle down the road to the shore which is just over a mile for the round trip. No beach wandering just yet. Then we have an appointment to go back for another vet visit which will hopefully be the last for this particular problem.
