School Life 3 -Part of the Furniture

As it was the last day of the WW1 themed week every one was dressing up as people from that time . I decided to pop in as Lawrence of Arabia - and spent a long time explaining who he was . Most wanted to know why I had come as a shepherd ????.
I met up with an old friend - he has been connected with the school for more than 30 years as a father and grandfather - he is ' part of the furniture '. He has been coming in and helping out on Friday for years . He is a quiet , unassuming chap who doesn't realise what a wonderful resource he is .
Lunchtime is an opportunity for a good yarn . Today it was about how he met Robert Graves when he was travelling through Spain in the 70s !
