Dorset Motto

Motto ware is usually associated with Devon but in the early 20th century Collard was making Crown Dorset pottery in Poole with mottos on . My favourite is ' Remembered joys are never past '
This motto is taken from a poem by the Dorset Poet Rev William Barnes . He wrote many of his poems in a Dorset dialect .
