Remembrance Sunday

This morning, all over the country, towns and villages held events to remember those who died serving their country, particularly marking 100 years since the start of the First World War and 75 years since the start of the Second World War.

This may not be the best picture I took this morning, but I felt it captured the spirit of the event well, with the band playing hymns and a guard of honour standing in front of the war memorial, engraved with the names of local people who lost their lives.

We remember all those who gave their lives serving their respective countries.
