Loch Tay, Perthshire

The main picture shows Loch Tay and Kenmore Bridge dating back to 1774.  It crosses the River Tay at the foot of the loch, virtually at the point where the river becomes known as the Tay, and connects the two halves of Kenmore  -  the Estate village for nearby Taymouth Castle. A fabulous spot for the timeshare development where we visited our friends and fed the flock of ducks that thrive in the loch.  Mallards breed in all parts of the UK in summer and winter, wherever there are suitable wetland habitats.
