Thinking about it ... We were lucky. I'm not 100% sure, but I think there was a little known Uncle, 1/2 brother to, and older than, the rest of the lads: who would have been old enough for the WW |. I don't think we ever knew if he was actually involved.

Of the remaining 4 brothers, all survived. I don't know about them all (Maybe "Derwent" can fill in some gaps) one served and I know Dad was in a "Reserved Occupation"
