Fall Bloom

It's starting to get cold here, and my crazy confused hydrangea just keeps on blooming. I love them like this, when they're not completely opened yet, so soft and innocent.

And the spider? Well, I think he was just trying to stay out of the wind.

My fingers are starting to thaw out, so I'm going to throw the chicken in the oven and get a fire going. Ken's got a supply of firewood set in....
