Lazy Sunday and chocolate stout

A very lazy day in the garden, then F suggested a walk. Evening walks are usually an anything-goes route - we see a nice path and then we take it. The highlights on the walk this evening were, in chronological order:

1. A growling, but friendly, grey Siamese-shaped cat
2. Some lovely blooming gardens
3. Two artistically placed road cones
4. Sunlight through the trees on Tooting Bec common
5. Chocolate stout and spicy Sri Lankan food at Hop and Spice in Balham (where the blip was taken)
6. Catching the rail replacement bus back, then having to walk from Streatham anyway because a driver of a Jaguar decided to drive past the bus through a too-narrow space, leaving the car scratched with fetching double-decker red paint and minus a wing mirror. (We watched the driver of the Jag punch the air in triumph as he finished his scrape past the bus - very odd, as clearly the bus won that fight.)
7. Picking up the local newspaper that we never seem to receive from a pile of dumped papers that littered the pavement all the way up Leigham Court Road
