Old and modern

This weeks FB photo competition subject is "Old and Young " so this evening I decided to take a few shots of an old clock that use to be my Mum & Dads along side my modern Digital alarm clock.
The old clock as i say use to be mum and dads and i got it fixed for them for their silver wedding anniversary 28 years ago then a few years ago they passed it on to me , not sure if it still works as it now normally is packed away. When i got it repaired unbeknown to me the clock repairer replaced the glass dome with a plastic one either he smashed it or craftily swapped it.
