Strictly Chessmen

On Saturdays the chessmen
are glued to their TV:
it's Strictly Come Dancing
gets them going, as you see:

The pawns perform a tango.
The bishops learn to waltz.
The king and queen try out a swing
with hardly any faults.

The knights do horse around a bit
and yet their quickstep's great,
while the rooks' amazing foxtrot
should score at least an 8!
