Out the Window

Today started with a bang and a bump! Right outside my window the city has decided that they are finally going to repair the sidewalk! The large jackhammer had the house shaking and the noise made it impossible to work. After that the backhoe came in to lift the concrete .... realizing that I would not be able to get much done at home, I heading out along the waterfront looking for inspiration and ran into, yes, construction! I guess all the yellow construction signs have returned from their trip south for the winter. I finally accepted that today was going to have a construction theme, so here is the view out my window this morning.
