Learning day by day

Miserable November day. Grey all day and wet too later in the day. After church we stopped at the garden centre, where the children got very excited due to the massive amount of Christmas decorations on sale. We had a hot drink, mine was free and we all made Christmas card lists.

I am not intending to send many this year. If I see people regularly or they are on FB they won't be getting a card. Instead I am going to make an extra donation to World Vision, through whom we sponsor a child.

The kids want to send cards to their whole year group, plus some extras and staff etc so they are looking at about 50 cards each! I think we better start them sooner rather than later!

After lunch Jim and Will played with the train track whilst Carys finished her letter to Brighton. She then had a bath while Will did his violin practice. He then had a bath and once pj's were on we all watched 'How to train your dragon.' It terrified Carys to start with and there was a cute bundle of arms and legs on the sofa as Carys and Will both lay on top of Jim (I was ironing).

Tea now then bed, ready for another week. Five to go to the holidays but only nine school days until the long weekend.
