Dark clouds over Quail Island

A grim start to the day, which matched my mood of apprehension. Turned out OK, though, and cloudy but mostly fine later in the day. The garden could use the few drops of rain we had; a little more would be welcome.

I spent very pleasant evening presenting my mammals talk at our club, and lovely to catch up with everyone. Hoping I'll be going on a few field trips with them soon, after missing out last weekend. There were some great images from folks that went on that trip to South Canterbury/North Otago.
