The Trossachs

A bit of background to surveying; either by total station or GPS; you always need line of sight, either point to point through air over ground or clear view to sky to track SVs (space vehicles).

Therefore the first question I ask about any survey site is if there are any trees or sight line obstructions. I asked specifically about this burn as most water courses tend to be shrouded in woodland. Apparently there is just a couple, widely spaced and you can walk between them.

A rather cynical former boss of mine used to say, in reference to the company’s senior management, “No thanks for achieving the impossible!”
We are not done here yet so I can’t say that.
