Quiet Corner, Quiet Garden

This Quiet Garden is in a corner of All Saints Church in High Wycombe. It's part of the Quiet Gardens Movement. The first Quiet Garden opened at Stoke Poges in Buckinghamshire in September 1992. Since then Quiet Gardens has spread to become a world-wide movement which offers quiet spaces for reflection: in gardens, churches, schools, hospitals and most recently prisons.

So this is a good place to come in the middle of the busyness of doing my errands in town today: to stop for a moment and 'hold in the Light', as Quakers say, those people I know who are in need of comfort and healing, and to ask that they may find peace. And also to ask the same for all those in need who are unknown to me.
