Common seal

There were a few seals about Scapa pier this afternoon- two grey seals on the seaward side and four common toward the beach. Normally there might be just one seal there.
They couldn't have followed shoals of fish because there was no attendant flock of gulls. Birds there: guillemots, a razorbill, black guillemots, red-breasted mergansers, turnstones, long-tailed ducks etc.
A couple more shots here.
