Beinn Eighe Mountain Trail walk

A grand day out! The weather was bright, sunny and we had very little wind.

We headed off over to Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve to walk the mountain trail. The nature reserve is the oldest in Britain.

We had a false start as we ended up parked in the wrong place, and tried to begin the walk totally in the wrong place....

The walk is around 3-4 hours with quite a bit of steep up and a bit of scrambling. Tough going for me, but the views were worth it.

This shot was taken nearly at the summit of our walk, looking over towards Slioch, a munro, on the left and Benna' Mhuinidh, a Graham, on the right. Loch Maree is the water in the foreground which apparently has it's own loch monster!
