Regal fly past

A great day today.
The local boat trip man was bored and was keen to get out and so four of us went out with him around the east coast of Ronay and Eaval, an area seldom visited as it is not easy to get to other than by boat.
The plan was to do some archaeological exploration of which I will write more later. Just as we arrived in the bay where we were to get off the boat, these two White-tailed Eagles flew past - a breeding pair I am told and you can just pick out the white wing tag on one of the birds.
The sky and the sea were blue and the coast of Skye looked really close. It was a spectacular setting for a spectacular sight.
