An American Wigeon - honest

Continuing my theme of blurred images, this was a long way away, in the evening as the sun was setting and looking into the sun. That at least was my excuse.
Looking at the bird books, spotting an American Wigeon looks a cinch but it is never as easy as you might think. For those in the know, this image will convince .For those not, then they probably don't care anyway.
It wasn't what I was looking for - that was an American Coot which is far rarer. That however eluded me - or perhaps I should say left for another day.
